It has been a crazy two months

As per the normal we went to Wurstfest to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and the purchase of our home!

I finally got my own hat so I can start my collection of pins now.

Thanksgiving was spent down at my Papa's in Three Rivers. I have spent Thanksgiving with him for atleast the last three or four years now. Dave was at the yard in George West so he was able to come over and enjoy a good meal and great company.

So far this year we have only been able to make one hunting trip. My Uncle Pat has around 450 acres in West Texas so we spent a few days out there tent camping. Needless to say it was an adventure. We didn't kill anything but we did lose both of our tents in a pretty rowdy storm the third night we were there.

Our home base

On the way back we stopped at one of Dave's favorite places to eat at when he is out in Ozona.

The holidays around New Braunfels and Gruene are just awesome. The whole city is decorated and everyone is in just such awesome spirits. Since it was our first year here as residents I decided it would be a new tradition for us to take our picture with Cowboy Kringle. I loved it.....Dave on the other hand was almost forced to go.

Two days after Christmas is my birthday and as usual Dave was back out in the patch working. He sent me this picture with a really sweet saying wishing me a happy birthday.

New Years Eve I was surprised by my parents! They came down from Georgetown to spend the evening at The Vineyard in the Gruene having dinner and watching Zack Walther play! It was an awesome night!
